1) WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A 'ROSTERED' PATIENT?
Dr. Norris is part of the FAMILY HEALTH ORGANIZATION (FHO) at Avenue Medical Center. A FHO is in partnership with Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to provide care for you as a patient with benefits. You will have access to our 'After Hours' clinic which we offer 7 days a week, including holidays. You can also call Telephone Health Advisory Service (THAS) at 1-866-553-7205 at any time.
Avenue Medical Center is also home to OB/GYNs, Surgeons, Internists, and Dentists. We have allergists on site with injection clinics and offer hours with diabetic education monthly.

2) HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Call the front desk at (519) 753-8666 to make an appointment. Same day appointments are available in the afternoons and can be booked in AM.
3) CAN I BE SEEN IF DR. NORRIS IS NOT AVAILABLE?
You can be seen in the After Hours Clinic that is offered on a daily basis. The hours are as follows ...
Monday - Thursday: 5-8pm
Friday: 2-5pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am - 1pm
You are urged to NOT go to walk-in clinics. If you cannot wait to be seen by Dr. Norris next day, or if the need to see a physician is of an urgent nature, you are asked to go to the nearest ER.

4) HOW CAN I RENEW MY MEDICATION?
There are a few options. You can request refills at your regular appointments, or you can have the pharmacy send a fax request to our office.
You should expect that prescription renewals by phone can take up to 48 hours to process. You can typically pick up your prescriptions within 2 - 3 business days.
